The architecture provides a powerful separation between:
- Presentation ("what it looks like")
All the UI resources are in an XML database, therefore dramatic UI changes can be achieved very quickly with no code changes. For examples, screen layout, colour depth, menu structure, menu style (list, grid, carousel…), keypad layout, icons, labels, languages… - Behaviour ("how it does it")
What does the Liber8 Alliance Provide
The Liber8 Alliance provides to all members
- Full source code to the Liber8 platform including all tools
- Comprehensive set of documentation on the Liber8Alliance website - How to guides, FAQs, porting guides etc..
- Forums for ongoing discussion between members
- Training material and videos on website
The infrastructure and initial content is provided by Octymo. Going forward then additional content will be provided by both Octymo and all members.
